PURPOSE
On our websites we use the remarketing function "Facebook Custom Audience", a tool of Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA; "Facebook"). The purpose of "Facebook Custom Audience" is to reach Facebook users who have previously visited BMW Motorrad websites, to provide them on Facebook with appropriate information about our products and services, and possibly to find new people who resemble our website visitors. For example, this may result in you being approached on Facebook with a BMW Motorrad ad after you visit a BMW Motorrad website. A Facebook pixel has been implemented on our websites for this purpose. When you visit our websites, this Facebook pixel transfers information to a 3rd party Facebook cookie on your computer and from there establishes a connection to the Facebook servers. In this sense, no direct connection is established from the Facebook pixel on the BMW Motorrad website to Facebook. However, the data collected is indirectly passed on to Facebook via the Facebook cookie on your computer. Facebook and BMW Motorrad are responsible for this data processing. The 3rd party Facebook cookie set by Facebook on your computer is neither visible nor modifiable by BMW Motorrad.

You are not obliged to transmit personal data. If you use the function to deactivate tracking, you can access this website without processing your personal data. With your cookie opt-in, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described here.
TECHNICAL HTTP HEADER DATA
Information about the web browser, page location, document, URL reference and user agent of the web browser as well as the IP address.
PIXEL-SPECIFIC DATA
Pixel ID and Facebook cookie data is collected, as well as information about which pages you viewed. The data also includes information about actions taken, such as a test drive/quotation request, information material requested or a model-specific configuration.
PROCESSING OF COLLECTED DATA
Facebook assigns the above information to your personal Facebook user account. BMW Motorrad does not store or process this information. Recognition is possible across websites and, under certain circumstances, across devices through Facebook, if Facebook can assign different devices to you, for example. BMW Motorrad will only be able to recognize you indirectly if BMW Motorrad can anonymously contact you as a Facebook user on Facebook. The Facebook cookie makes this possible to a large extent. According to Facebook, the information sent to Facebook by the Facebook pixel is currently stored for 180 days, after which it is encrypted and anonymised. BMW Motorrad has no influence on this process.
